Sports Day Challenge
Whether you are at home or in school we hope you have fun completing our Sports Day Challenges this week.

TIME
This challenge will give us a lot of opportunities to talk about time and use the language involved.
The children's target is to use the language of time.
These activities will enable them to talk about whether they have done a challenge in the morning or the afternoon. They will hear you use the language 'seconds' and 'minutes'. When you time an activity please involve them in the process of using a stopwatch or a timer app.
ORDINAL NUMBERS
If several family members get involved you can then discuss who came first, second or third and talk about the ordinal numbers.
You could create trophies or medals for each position.
