Harvesting Carrots and Onions
The children discovered carrots and a few onions still growing in the Nursery garden, planted last year! It was exciting to search for them, dig them up and compare their sizes. We looked at long, short and even shorter carrots. Some children found some tiny carrots too! Some carrots had been eaten by worms and bugs.
There were some little onions growing in the soil aswell.
Next week we will be planting potatoes, carrots, lettuce and nasturtium seeds, so watch this space for more photographs!
