Stop Frame Animation

Today we used Lego Movie Maker app on the iPad to create stop frame animation. We continued to use the onion skin technique to help us move our objects only a tiny bit each frame to create the illusion that they were moving once the frames are all played at speed. It was great fun and we loved adding music and special effects.

 

This app has apparently been superseded by THE LEGO® MOVIE 2™ Movie Maker which is a free app.
