Forest School Adventures
Our first trip to Forest School was even more exciting than we imagined it to be! We enjoyed a thrilling morning packed with new experiences: building dens, making fairy potions, whittling wood, climbing trees, digging in the mud kitchen, sculpting with clay, resting in hammocks, hunting for bugs, swinging in the trees, making marks in nature and having the freedom to explore the enchanting woods within the Forest School perimeter fences.
We developed so many important skills and characteristics of learning for life, including: perseverance problem solving risk taking creative thinking, resilience communication teamwork independence decision making and patience to name but a few!
Most exciting of all was the CAMPFIRE! We loved watching as the fire was lit, then we toasted our own marshmallows on the flames to make our own s'mores! We were cosy as we enjoyed our treats together sharing our memories of our wonderful morning together:
