LO: To use the active and passive voice in our own sentences.
Look again at the PowerPoint from yesterday's learning if you feel you need a recap on the active and passive voice.
Look at the document called 'Pictures for writing sentences'.
Write at least 2 sentences for each picture - one in the active voice and one in the passive voice.
Example:
Active Voice: The adventurous, tabby cat climbed on the roof.
Passive Voice: The roof was climbed on by the adventurous, tabby cat.
Extension
Look at the rainforest scene below.
Write a paragraph to describe it using a range of sentences in both the active and passive voices. Underline the sentences in the passive voice to identify them.
