Road Safety
We used Google Earth to find the UK > Liverpool > Croxteth Park, then zoomed in on Emmaus School. We talked about the busy road that our school is located on & the vehicles that drive by & park outside every day. We read ‘S.T.O.P... Super Bob Tells Off Parents’ from the 'Slow Down for Bobby' campaign and then went outside to find important signs & symbols in our environment that help to keep us safe on the road.
Back in class, we played with our small world vehicles & figures to practise crossing the road & parking safely then we enjoyed an interactive road crossing experience & safety talk from Road Safety Rose too!
