Den Building with Dads, Granddads and Uncles

We had a great day building dens this week. Dads, Granddads and Uncles came in to help and join in the fun! We used masking tape, pegs and clamps to make cane frames and cover them with fabric. Oscar's secret Liverpool Den was built in the willow house! We made dens ranging from Sophia's PJ Mask Den, to Amelia's Beautiful Butterfly Den. Tara's was called The Big One while Jesse and Tate built The Biggest Tool Den in the World! Nancy's Dad wrote her name in ribbons and she built a Nancy Princess Den. Shea made Ben's Pirate Ship, Mason P made a Kitchen Den, Millie made Millie's Place, Mason Mc built a Minecraft Den. Faye made Faye's Folly and William constructed Maudsley's Manor! Harry C made a Spiderman Den, Cole built a Red Tent, Emma built an Eliza Den and Olivia made her Pepsi Den. Nathan made an Army Den and Kezia built a Peg Den. Eliza constructed a Spider's Nest Den, Ahmad made Mummy, Daddy and Ahmad. Jaden built his Dinosaur Den, Jorgie and Sofia even created a Golden Tenerife Tent!

Neil from the Children’s Centre read us a story about a little boy flying a kite with his Dad and we made masks too. The children loved showing their Dads, Uncles and Granddads the mud kitchen, garden centre, work in their learning journeys, the tadpoles and photos of holding snakes and Rosie the tarantula when Dylan's reptiles visited.
