Clay and Slick Investigation
Emma talked about the photographs of her visit to the museum where she saw the Chinese Terracotta Warriors. Her Mum had emailed pictures of Emma and her brother Michael exploring clay and slick (clay with water added) at the museum workshop.
We all decided it would be a good idea to play in clay and slick too. We investigated what happened if more water was added, we talked about the textures and sensations, some children made clay handprints and others wrote their names. We all got very messy and so did Nursery! Oral and Caitlin were very kind and decided to clean the Nursery floor using water and white tissue roll.
If you would like to email photos of your child doing something special, to share with class on the Clever Board at Nursery, please send them to... t.caulfield@emmaus.liverpool.sch.uk
