Educational Visits
Year Three enjoyed a fun visit to New Brighton. They used mapping skills as part of our Geography topic, visited the Black Pearl Pirate Ship and New Brighton's Beach. They also enjoyed a lovely view of Liverpool's waterfront and skyline from Vale Park which they sketched. They finished off with a refreshing ice cream. The children really enjoyed this visit and many expressed that they would like to revisit this seaside resort, which is on our door step.
Year Three enjoyed a visit from the Roman Soldiers. They got to dress up as Roman Soldiers and look at the different weapons that were used. They also had a battle on the playground as well as learning lots of interesting facts about Roman life.
Year Three had fun at Croxteth Park planting bulb and wild flower seeds in the Kennel's garden with the friends of Croxteth Park. The children were even treated to a sunflower planting kit. We cannot wait to see what the garden looks like when these flowers begin to grow!
An Amazing Time At Gulliver's World
Year Three enjoyed a festive visit to Gulliver's world in Warrington. They had an amazing time on the fairground rides, a train ride to visit the North Pole Winter Wonderland and a visit to Father Christmas. They were even treated to a gift from Santa's workshop. Finally they finished this great day with a hot meal and a pantomime show. A great time was had by all. We would like to thank the Variety Club charity for their generosity inviting us on this trip.
