My name is Miss Williams and I am going to be your new class teacher (in September). I am excited to welcome you into 6W shortly. 2020/2021 is going to be a great year and I am very much looking forward to it - I hope you are too!
We are very lucky to be joined by Mrs Richmond, who is the TA in Year 6. I know she is looking forward to working with you all too.
We have fantastic topics to study, including WW2 and The Alps. We also have creative art and D&T topics, which I know you will enjoy. Follow the link below to our Year 6 Curriculum page. Here you will discover the topics you will learning in Year 6.
I know that Year 6 may seem like a scary year for some children as we have the SATs and it's your final year at Emmaus before secondary school. You may also feel a little bit worried because you have not been in school for a while but we will work incredibly hard to ensure that you catch up and feel prepared. We will have a happy and successful year together.
Unfortunately, we will not get the opportunity to meet and spend time together before September. Instead, I will populate this page with photographs of the classroom and information about Year 6.
I hope you all have a fun and safe summer - I look forward to seeing you all in September and hearing about all of your summer adventures.

One of my hobbies is reading - I am an avid reader! I hope you enjoy reading as much as I do. I have made a 'BookFlix' display in our new classroom, which contains lots of book recommendations.
This year, we will read lots of exciting books, including Alex Rider's 'Stormbreaker' and Carrie's War.
Our classroom (6W) is located at the front of the school (near the Junior playground).
Here are some photographs of our classroom. Watch this space for new photographs of displays and table layouts.
