Mrs E. Cannon de Sousa & Mrs M. Murphy
We would like to extend a very warm welcome to you and your child and hope that they will have a very happy and successful year.
Well done to all Year 5 children for presenting the Remembrance service via zoom to the whole school. The children read their prayers of Peace and we shared a minute of silence throughout the school. Thank you to Reverend Laura for leading our service and giving us a very special blessing.
Please give me peace in my journey of life. Please take care of my nan because she is feeling very lonely at this time. We pray for all our families who are missing loved ones. We look forward to happy times together soon.
We pray for all the heroes who have helped people save lives during the pandemic
Please guide people to the path of peace. Show them that fighting is not the answer to problems. Help them to be peacemakers and negotiate to make solutions. Help the wounded who are hurt inside and out. This means that sometimes bad thatings happen to people and, although they look physically happy, mental problems can stay forever.
Help us to remember the soldiers that fought for peace and died for the lives we live today.
We wear our poppies with pride to remember them.
Thank you for keeping us safe and bringing peace into our hearts.
Please protect us all as we go about our day.
Please be reminded that the Ministry of Chocolate workshop will take place next week, Tuesday 29th September at school.
As the letter to parents states, if your child has any allergies, please speak to your child's class teacher before then. Thank you
