The children were so excited to search outdoors for the Gruffalo, they found a hidden trail of numbers to 20 and Gruffalo hiding in Jay's House! We ordered the numbers 1 to 20 and counted them all together. The Gruffalo costume has been popular in role play and the children have used soft toys, puppets and props to recall and retell 'The Gruffalo' and 'Room on the Broom' stories.
