The children discovered that our carrots and potatoes, planted earlier in the year, were ready to be harvested. It was very excited pulling up carrots and discovering potatoes too! The returning Nursery children remembered planting the potatoes and were amazed at how large the carrots had grown from the tiny seeds. Charlotte found a 'curly carrot' and Oscar said that Mrs Caulfield could 'Wash them and cook them and have them for tea.' The vegetables will be served for Nursery snack.
