My name is Miss Dickinson and I am so excited to be your new class teacher! I can't wait to welcome you into 6D in September! I hope that you are excited too!
We will be joined in 6D by our Year 6 Teaching Assistant, Mrs Richmond. Together, we will help you to settle in and have a great year!
I know that most of you will not have been in school for quite a while now and that Year 6 may feel a bit scary for some as we undertake SATS and it is the final year at Emmaus before leaving for secondary school. Please do not worry about a thing. When you return to school in September, we will work hard together to ensure that you catch up and feel prepared for the times ahead. We are always here for you and we will have a happy and successful year together!
In Year 6, we will be studying so many exciting topics such as World War Two, the Ancient Maya Civilisation, the Alps, Protecting our World, Electricity and Evolution. Please follow the links below to our 'Year 6 Curriculum Page' to see exactly what we will be studying throughout Year 6.
I hope that you all really enjoy your summer time. Stay safe and have fun! I look forward to seeing you all in September!
Miss Dickinson.
