The pictures above show some ideas of things that it would be helpful to practise before the start of a new term in September. These are optional ideas for those that would like to use them! On our return in September, we will be ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children and helping them to adapt to the changes of teachers, year groups and classrooms.
Read, Read, Read!
Reading is such an important skill! We spend lots of time in year 2 focussing on reading lots of exciting stories, information books and poems and talking about them with our friends. Over the holidays, try to practise reading as much as you can (every day would be amazing!!!).
