Exploring Melting and Freezing Through Ice Balloons
We have been thinking about cold weather, ice and snow at Nursery. We put coloured water in the freezer and talked about how it had changed the next day. We had great fun making water balloons too!
As it was so cold one night, we found that our water balloons in the water tray outside had begun to freeze. We talked about how they felt and looked at the shapes of the ice. We made a floor book about freezing and melting.
