Frozen Castle Role Play
The Frozen Castle and Fairy Tale Role Play
We have been thinking about cold weather, ice and snow at Nursery. We dressed up and played together in the Frozen Castle Role Play. We had princesses, knights, pirates, a snow monster and Sven the reindeer.
We have been developing our scissor skills through cutting out paper snowflakes and decorating them with glitter. We made snowman out of dough and used imaginary face paints to develop the muscles in our wrists and fingers getting us ready to write.
Over the next weeks we will be exploring colour and media through making icing sugar pictures using cold colour paints.
