Our last mud and wellington day this year, before we send home our waterproofs, was so exciting! Archie R. and Alfie K. made mud soup and so many children drenched themselves in puddles that the splashes reached their faces! Matilda, Evelyne, Charlotte, Archie G. and their friends dug a deep hole in the soil, filled it with water and made a mud swamp to splash and sit in! Nancy and Harry M. cooked in the mud kitchen and Poppy and Eve played in the sand beating out rhythms on the rocks and logs as they made up songs. Theodor rolled on the sand and sat in the mud, Becca squealed with delight as she threw buckets of water over staff and lay in the muddy puddles. Look at the subpages below for photos of some of the activities the children enjoyed.
