Read the following story:
Bible Story: The Lost Sheep (Luke 15.4-6)
Jesus said “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them – what do you do? You leave the other ninety-nine sheep in the pasture and go looking for the one that was lost until you find it.
When you find it, you are so happy that you put it on your shoulders and carry it back home. Then you call your friends and neighbours and say to them, ‘I am so happy I found my lost sheep. Let us celebrate!’”
Have you ever felt lost?
The message of the story:
The meaning is simple: lost humans need love. Jesus taught this lesson three times. God loves deeply and cares personally for us as individuals. We are valuable to him and he will seek far and wide to bring us back home to him.
Go forth: Make a card or draw a picture for someone to show that you love and care for them.
