Nursery Butterflies
We watched the tiny caterpillars, grow and then build cocoons. Inside the cocoons they changed into painted lady butterflies and we released them outdoors. We enjoyed reading Eric Carle's book, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and learnt a song about the butterfly lifecycle too.
