On the Snail Trail

 

The rainy weather inspired us to go on a Snail Trail in Forest School to find some magnificent molluscs!

 

Then, we were super excited to meet 'Slimon' the Giant African Land Snail & his entire snail family, on loan from Year 6!

 

We used non-fiction books to discover new vocabulary and interesting facts about how snails move, grow, feed and protect themselves.
